LAIGO Mosaic Maker

Upload your desired image and specify the desired width of your mosaic. For reference, the largest mosaic sets that LEGO sells are ~5 blocks wide. 3D mosaics will have a protruded foreground and can be configured to minimize background colors.

Click the Convert button and wait until the service finishes computing. The foreground gets separated by a segmentation model, colors are constrained to LEGO palette, features are preserved while down sampling occurs, and a separate k-means algorithm allows background color simplification.

Users currently are given list of pieces and pdf of instructions. I am in the process of making this a complete end to end service that optimizes for mosaic set cost while allowing users to order directly from LAIGO site.
